Bimetallic Aluminum to Steel Plate Sheet Transition Joints
The aluminum-titanium-steel transition joint is a three layered explosively bonded material, generally composed of aluminum alloy, pure titanium and steel, of which the pure titanium layer is the intermediate transition layer. The interlayer metal of titanium layer can effectively reduce the production of brittle intermetallic compounds, greatly improve the stability of the steel-aluminum connection, and avoid the occurrence of cracking accidents on the steel-aluminum bonding surface under extreme conditions.
