Phohom adopts the process of Explosive Welding to produce cladding plates for pressure vessels. The following are several major categories of composite panels for pressure vessels that we mainly produce.

1. Stainless Steel-Steel Clad Plates

Base material: carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel

Cladding: stainless steel

Thickness of base and cladding material: the thickness of cladding material should be 2mm~16mm, and the thickness of base material should not be less than 6mm

Type: The cladding material can be wrapped on one or both sides of the base material to form a single-sided or double-sided composite board. The shape of the composite board can be made on demand according to application scenarios and customer requirements, including rectangle, square and circle

Routine inspection items: ultrasonic testing, shearing test, tensile test, impact test, internal bending test, iron content detection (duplex stainless steel cladding), size, surface quality

Tests that can be done on demand: external bending test, side bending test, intergranular corrosion test

2. Nickel-Steel Clad Plate

Base material: carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel

Cladding: Nickel and Nickel Alloys

Thickness: The thickness of the cladding material should be 2mm~16mm, the thickness of the base material should not be less than 6mm, and the total thickness should generally not be less than 8mm

Type: The cladding material can be wrapped on one or both sides of the base material to form a single-sided or double-sided composite board. The shape of the composite board can be made on demand according to application scenarios and customer requirements, including rectangle, square and circle

3. Titanium-Steel Clad Plate

Cladding: Titanium and Titanium Alloys

Thickness: The thickness of the cladding material should be 1mm~12mm, the thickness of the base material should not be less than 6mm, and the total thickness should generally not be less than 8mm
